Customise charging reminders
Sleep tracking with an Apple Watch requires some planning to ensure you have enough battery power to last the night and early morning. Users can turn on charging reminders to encourage the practice of topping off the Apple Watch battery ahead of bed.
The AutoSleep app is one of the most popular and powerful sleep-tracking applications for the Apple Watch. AutoSleep has a new feature that will send you a notification when it's time to put your Apple Watch on the charger before bed. The default reminder time is 8 p.m., but you can customise this to fit your schedule. You can also set a reminder to put your Apple Watch back on after charging.
If your Apple Watch is charged to less than 30% before you go to bed, you will be prompted to charge it. You can also set a reminder to charge your watch to 30% one hour before your scheduled sleep time. If you want to be reminded to charge your watch regardless of its battery level, AutoSleep has that feature.
You can also open the Health app on your iPhone, tap Browse, tap Sleep, then tap Edit below Your Schedule to change your schedule. The changes apply only to your next wake-up alarm, after which your normal schedule resumes.
