Sleep Number® Smart Remote
The Sleep Number® Smart Remote is the remote you need for your sleep if you bought your bed in 2022 or later and it was designated as The Sleep Number Smart Bed. This is the case for basically any bed on the Sleep Number website now.
To set up your Sleep Number® Smart Remote, make sure fresh AA batteries are inserted into the back of the remote before you start. Go to the “Settings” menu on your remote. Then, locate the Favorite button on your bed (located on either side near the middle of the base). Press and hold the Favorite button for about 5 seconds until the light starts to blink blue, then release. Follow the prompts on the remote. The Bluetooth icon in the top left corner of the remote screen will go from blinking to solid when pairing is complete.
If you are setting up or resetting your Sleep Number® Smart Remote, select "No" when asked if this is a second or replacement remote. Select "Yes" when asked if your bed has a Sleep Number button at the hip. Find the Sleep Number button near the middle of the base on the side. Press and hold the Sleep Number button for about 10 seconds until it starts blinking. Select "Continue." When prompted, unplug and plug in the FlexFit Control system. Do not unplug your bed. Select "Continue." Press "Skip" when asked to unplug and plug in your DualTemp engine. If you see a blue screen with a Sleep Server error, press "Enter" twice to bypass the error.

Traditional Sleep Number Remotes
If you're looking for a remote to control your Sleep Number bed, you'll need to choose between a few different options. The remote you need will depend on when you bought your bed. If you bought your bed between 2016 and 2013, you'll need a traditional Sleep Number remote. These remotes are compatible with beds purchased and delivered during that time frame.
It's important to note that not all remotes are compatible with every Sleep Number bed. If you purchased a 360 bed between 2023 and 2016, you'll need a 360 remote.
