Tomodachi Life is a Nintendo 3DS game that combines elements from Animal Crossing, The Sims, Nintendo Mii, and hallucinogenic drugs. Changing a Mii's personality

Editing a Mii's profile
In Tomodachi Life, Miis are the inhabitants of the island and the main protagonists of Miitopia. The player can create Miis and add them to the game using the Mii Maker feature. This feature is pre-installed on the Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and Switch, and is a key component of Tomodachi Collection and Tomodachi Life.
When creating a Mii, the player is required to provide a first name, last name, nickname, and gender. Other details, such as their favourite colour and birth date, can also be added. Interacting with a Mii's dream
In Tomodachi Life, Miis can either take a nap or sleep for the night. When they are asleep, a lullaby version of the apartment music will play. While Miis are sleeping for the night, they will be in a deep sleep and the player will be unable to wake them up. However, during the daytime, Miis may take a nap and can be woken up by entering their apartment, unless they are dreaming. If a Mii is sleeping for the night and the player changes their personality, the Mii will stay awake until the player leaves their apartment, unless they get a level-up gift.
Dreams can be seen and experienced when a Mii is dreaming while taking a nap or sleeping for the night.
