Kate Roberts is a fictional character from the American soap opera 'Days of Our Lives'. The character was first introduced in 1977 as Dr. Kate Winograd, a married anesthesiologist at Salem University Hospital, who has an affair with her married colleague, Dr. Bill Horton. Bill leaves his wife, Laura, and moves in with Kate, but soon realises he still loves his wife and returns to her.
