Using Sleep Mode without an Apple Watch
SleepWatch is a popular app for tracking sleep via the Apple Watch, but it can also be used without one. By simply tracking your sleep times each morning with the SleepWatch iOS app for iPhone, you can gain insight into multiple aspects of your sleep. You can track your Total Sleep Time, 3-Day Sleep Target, 7-day Sleep Rhythm, and Sleep Efficiency. You can also keep track of how your sleep may be impacting how you feel using the Restedness and Fatigueness tracking features.
The iPhone's Health app can also be used to track sleep. To view your sleep history, open the Health app and tap Browse at the bottom of the screen. Tap Sleep. If you have Sleep saved as a favorite, you can access it from the Summary page in the Health app. The bar graph is set to D for daily by default. Tap W at the top of the chart to view your sleep history for the past week, M for the past month, or 6M for the past 6 months.
You can also use the Sleep app on your iPhone to track your sleep. To set up sleep tracking, open the Health app and tap Get Started under Set Up Sleep, then tap Next. From there, you can set a sleep goal, bedtime and wake-up times, and Sleep Focus to reduce distractions on your iPhone.
It is also possible to track your sleep on your iPhone without using any apps. One way to do this is to use the Bedtime feature in the iPhone's Clock app. Another way is to use the Sleep Mode feature. To activate Sleep Mode, open the Control Center on your iPhone, long-press the moon icon, and select Sleep. This will start sleep tracking. In the morning, long-press the crown to unlock your iPhone, go into the Control Center, and deactivate Sleep Mode.
