How Much Sleep Does The Megalo Need?

does the megalo need sleep in aberration

The Megalosaurus is a powerful creature in ARK: Survival Evolved. While the Aberrant Megalosaurus does not need sleep, the normal Megalosaurus does fall asleep on Aberration. This makes the Aberrant Megalosaurus more useful to players, as it can remain in a full state of alertness indefinitely. The nocturnal sleeping pattern of the normal Megalosaurus makes it significantly less effective during the day, although it is still one of the strongest therapods.

Aberrant Megalosaurus don't need sleep

The Megalosaurus is one of the strongest therapods. It can bite and even latch onto enemies, including humans, and swing them around, hindering their ability to move. They are very useful mounts, especially when dealing with ravager packs since you can pick them up and chomp on them, lowering some of the damage you are taking at once.

Every few days, the day and night length will cycle. 50%/50% -> 90%/10% -> 10%/90% -> 50%/50% -> and so on. The 90% night periods are really good with a Megalosaurus.
